Synopsis (from DVD)
Lucky at cards, unlucky in life. A gambler on a hot streak entrusts his winnings to Caine. But the money is soon stolen, the gambler is killed, and Caine seeks answers to the mysteries surrounding both events.

Caine happens upon a gambler, and the two men who had robbed him before come back to rob him again.

Someone is seen riding a penny farthing along the street in this episode.

Caine tells the wife of the gambler that he had been attacked and lost the money but did not elaborate on details. Yet, when the wife describes the event to the sheriff, she says that Caine had hid the money before the attack and discovered the next morning that someone had taken the money!
