More Details:
The last two episodes of season two is a two-parter. They deviate from the normal serious tone of the series, and interject more humour, even close to the point of slapstick.

There are two stories told, the adventure with the eccentric scotsman, and the story of Caine's first romantic fling which takes place in China a month after he has left the temple. The stories keep flipping back and forth, especially when something dramatic happens in one it will flip over to the other - which I found a little annoying after a while.

Interesting quotes:
"Compassion is the first rule of the Shaolin discipline." - Caine

"What kind of a Christian are you, anyway?" - asked of Caine

"I strive for no thing. I strive to reach no place.
Unless you could call the Tao a place."
- Caine
